The conflict, which started last month with Matt Mullenweg accusing WP Engine of being a “cancer to WordPress,” has escalated with a new mandatory check box. Users could access the account only if they confirmed, “I am not affiliated with WP Engine in any way, financially or otherwise.”

Conversational marketing platform Tildei has raised $6M in seed funding. Susa Ventures led the round with participation from Ludlow Ventures, Gradient Ventures, Lerer Hippeau, Vine Ventures, MXV Capital, Marcelo Claure, Jason Lemkin, and other angel investors. Funding will be used to develop the platform’s AI capabilities further, expand its channel support, and grow the team.
