How Google’s $32B Wiz Play Rewrites DevOps Security Rules

Google’s parent company, Alphabet, has acquired cyber security startup Wiz in a $32B deal. Through the acquisition, Google receives an AI-infused Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) designed to eliminate DevSecOps bottlenecks. The solution can help prevent attacks by and on models in development and cloud breaches and also scale multi-cloud security in real time. 

Perforce Acquires Snowtrack

DevOps company for global teams Perforce Software has acquired Snowtrack, a distributed version control system for games, animation, and VFX. The amount of the deal remains undisclosed; however, Perforce Software will now focus on expanding its offerings for art teams to track and manage changes to files and projects.
